These statement earrings from Marla Aaron are one of our favorites. These gold earrings come with double-sided Prasiolite and Malachite oval lozenges that can be removed (see the video we've included in the product images!) and mixed and matched with different lozenges and discs from the designer.

The earrings themselves are easy to wear and insert/remove yourself with a strong clicker mechanism. Marla's earrings are lovingly handmade in 18k Yellow Gold.

Gemstone Information

• PRASIOLITE - This stone is the green variety of quartz, giving it the nickname of 'vermarine' or 'lime citrine'. The stone itself is a very light, translucent green and rarely found in nature. Most modern Prasiolite comes from smaller mines in Brazil.

Prasiolite ranks at a 7 on the Mohs scale of hardness.

• MALACHITE - Malachite is a green copper carbonate hydroxide mineral, forming at shallow depths of the earth above copper deposits. When cut, it has similar striking bands and striations similar to agate.

Malachite ranks a 3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale of hardness, making it a relatively soft mineral.
